- The market opportunity – how big is the market for the company’s technology? What disease states and what patient groups do the technology address? Who makes the purchasing decision and who will pay?
- Technology overview – specify capabilities, unique features and intellectual property position .
- Competitive and substitute analysis – How is the disease treated today? Explain how your technology improves upon today’s gold standard. Who else is seeking to solve the problem and how?
- Project status quo – what has been done to date and what still needs to be done?
- People – who is involved in the venture and what is their experience?
- Clinical, regulatory and reimbursement overview – FDA track, trial size and endpoints and expected reimbursement strategies.
