LipoSonix focuses on providing a non-invasive alternative to liposuction surgery using High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology. LipoSonix was founded within The Innovation Factory in 2001 and was acquired by Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation in 2008.
